It started with a conviction: the Algerian Sahara deserved better than passing tourism. Better than express circuits, photos taken through a 4×4 window, and soulless hotel nights. NOR Experience was born from that conviction — and from its founders’ deep love for this territory, its people, and its silences.
We built our programs by walking every trail ourselves, sleeping under every sky, and sharing meals with the nomadic families who opened their doors to us. What we offer you today is not a product. It is an experience we lived before you — for you.
We believe that traveling slowly means traveling better. That true luxury is not an air-conditioned room in the middle of the desert, but a sunset seen from a plateau that few people have ever walked. That the richness of a journey is measured by what you bring back — not in your luggage, but in the way you see the world.

From the moment you book to the moment you return home, NOR Experience handles every aspect of your stay. Transfers, accommodation, meals, guides, cultural activities, wellness, field logistics — everything is organized, thought through, and supervised by our team.
We work exclusively with local partners: native Tuareg guides, regional cooks, local artists and musicians. Every dinar spent on your journey stays in the region, supports the local economy, and contributes to the preservation of this exceptional natural and cultural heritage.
